LAWSONIA (Links and Woodlands)

Golf Wisconsin, the hidden gem of all hidden gems.  Ranked number 2 for places you can play for under $100 (#1 is US Open Course Bethpage Black) the Lawsonia Links course is a bucket list course for the golf enthusiast.  Set along the shores of Green Lake in east central Wisconsin is a 36-hole layout made up of the Links and the Woodlands.  Designed by Bill Langford and Theodore Moreau, the Links is famous for having a boxcar buried underneath the 7th green to create its elevation.  The Woodlands is a traditional parkland style course set amongst the trees.

Lawsonia is located in east central Wisconsin about 3 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay, and 4 hours from Minneapolis.
